Boseong (보성) is Korea’s green tea heartland, in South Jeolla Province — rolling tea terraces, a quiet river, sea-facing spas, and some of the country’s best cockles. It is still refreshingly off the mass-tourist track, which is exactly why it’s worth the trip.

This isn’t a brochure. We actually live here — on Daeheung Farm, up the Boseong River in Nodong-myeon — and this is the guide we’d give a friend visiting from abroad.

Everything here begins at Daeheung and flows, like the Boseong River, out to the world.
